Golden State Warriors
Secondary Logo Design
The Warriors set out to rebrand their iconic "W." As the team evolved, they wanted a more modern mark that reflected the style of play that had come to define the franchise while creating a stronger, more versatile symbol for the future.
The design fuses a bold "W" with a basketball net, symbolizing the team's legendary three point shooting. The arched form echoes the arc of a perfect shot, while a subtle embedded "W" reinforces the organization's foundation: winning.
The result is a modern, versatile brand mark rooted in motion, precision, and identity. Since its launch, the logo has become a core part of the Warriors' visual system, contributing to one of the NBA's top selling merchandise programs and earning industry recognition, including a Clio Sports Award.
A Logo That Lives
Beyond the Game
A logo's real power is revealed when it resonates beyond the court. The Warriors' secondary mark has been fully embraced by the fan base, appearing across new drops in the Warriors Shop and becoming a core element of the team's visual identity. Its continued presence off the court is proof that when design connects with a community, it becomes more than a symbol. It becomes part of the culture.
